How a Photo Booth Helped Mondays Studio Launch Its New Pilates Studio

When Mondays Studio opened the doors to its new pilates studio on January 23, 2026, the goal was clear: create energy around the opening, bring the community into the space, and give guests a reason to engage from the moment they arrived.
For a wellness brand rooted in community, the event needed to feel considered, welcoming, and true to the brand. It also needed to give guests something to engage with beyond simply walking through the space.
That is where the right photo experience made all the difference.
The Brief

Mondays Studio was preparing for the grand opening of its brand new pilates studio and wanted an experience that would help build excitement around the launch, entertain guests throughout the event, and create content people would feel excited to share.
The audience included friends, family, and professionals within the local community, with the turnout exceeding expectations. For a new studio, that kind of visibility matters. The event was not just a celebration. It was an introduction.
They chose After Five for the quality of our output and trusted us to create an experience that felt true to their brand from the start.
The Approach
We provided a glam booth experience designed to feel clean, elevated, and fully integrated into the atmosphere of the event.
The setup included:
- our glam filter
- instant 4×6 on-site prints
- digital sharing via text
- a branded photo template
- a branded welcome screen
- branded gallery access after the event
- one on-site attendant
- full setup and teardown
To support the Mondays Studio brand, we customized the experience with their brand colours and two logo variations across the welcome screen and photo design. The print template featured a full 4×6 layout with a subtle black logo in the top corner, while the welcome screen incorporated the studio’s visual identity in a way that felt polished and understated.
We paired that branding with a clean white backdrop to keep the final images sharp, flattering, and consistent with the glam finish.
Even the booth placement was intentional. We installed it inside the pilates studio mat room so the experience felt immersed in the studio itself.

Why It Worked
At brand launches, guest interaction matters just as much as aesthetics.
A successful booth does more than look good, it supports the event around it. At Mondays Studio, it felt fully integrated into the energy of the opening. It gave guests a reason to step into the space, spend time in it, and leave with branded content they wanted to keep and share.Because the experience reflected Mondays Studio so closely, every print, texted image, and gallery visit extended the brand beyond the studio itself. Guests weren’t just taking photos. They were participating in the launch in a way that felt natural, social, and highly shareable.
When an experience is built intentionally, it becomes more than a guest feature. It supports how the event feels, how guests interact, and how the brand is carried forward afterward.
The Response
The booth stayed busy all night.
The room remained full, guests continued returning to the booth, and the energy around the experience never dropped. What started as a one-hour booking was extended to two hours on-site, which says a great deal on its own. When a client chooses to keep the booth running in real time, it is usually because the experience is doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
The event also generated strong organic visibility for the pilates studio through social sharing and local word of mouth.
The Results
Here is what the experience produced across the event:
- 105 photos captured
- 267 prints produced on-site
- 41 digital shares captured through the text-to-send feature
- 151 branded gallery views after the event
- One-hour booking extended to two hours due to demand
- Strong turnout that exceeded their expectations
- High guest participation throughout the night
- Strong social sharing and local brand visibility following the event
For a grand opening, those numbers matter because they point to more than booth usage. They show attention, interaction, and continued engagement after the event ended.

Why Brand-Led Events Need This
The strongest event experiences feel like a natural extension of the brand. They invite participation, support the energy of the room, and shape what guests remember.
That is especially important for wellness brands, Pilates studios, and experience-led businesses where brand perception carries as much weight as promotion. Guests are paying attention to how the event feels. They notice the details. They remember what looked good, what felt easy, and what people gathered around.
For Mondays Studio, the booth supported all of that:
- it added energy to the room
- it gave guests a reason to participate
- it created branded content that was shared
- it helped the opening feel established, social, and well attended

What This Launch Required
This event came together quickly. The inquiry came in on January 20 and the event took place on January 23.
Within that short window, communication moved across DMs, voice notes, and email, and the experience was still delivered with the level of refinement, clarity, and ease our clients expect from us.
For a launch event, that kind of speed and clarity matters, especially when timing is tight and first impressions count.
This project is a strong example of what successful event execution requires: thoughtful planning, visual consistency, easy guest usability, and the ability to deliver something polished on a tight timeline.
It also shows that we do not think of a booth as equipment dropped into a room. We think of it as part of the event story. Placement, guest flow, branding, sharing, and output all shape whether the experience simply exists or actually performs.
For Pilates Studios, Wellness Brands, and Community-Led Events

If you are planning a grand opening, launch event, or brand gathering, a photo booth should do more than entertain your guests for a few minutes.
It should help your event feel alive, reflect your brand clearly, give people something they are proud to share and it should leave behind proof that people showed up, engaged, and wanted to be part of what you were building.
That is exactly what happened at Mondays Studio.
