Before locking in a photo booth you should confirm that the set up and tear down process are included. The setup and tear down are crucial for proper function of the equipment and the safety of your guests. Here are 3 tips for A seamless photo booth setup and teardown on your wedding day.
The set up of your photo booth requires that all of the equipment are all correctly assembled and connected. Without a proper setup, some of the complications you might encounter include: poor photo quality, printer jams, software glitches, unstable internet connection, inability to text, share and print images along with (so!) much more. A perfect set up ensures proper function of your photo booth and protects your guests from injury.
Once you’ve confirmed that the set up and tear down are included in your investment, here are 3 tips for a seamless setup and tear down on your wedding day.
1. Provide a first point of contact
You should be kicking off your heels and enjoying the party WITH your guests, not worrying about the photo booth. This is why we recommend that you always provide a first point of contact for your wedding day. On the day of your wedding, your first point of contact will confirm any important details we might need. We recommend that your first point of contact be a wedding planner, venue coordinator or immediate family member.
2. Save extra space
Leaving additional room for your photo booth eliminates any worry about how to make things fit on your wedding day. We recommend confirming the exact amount of space needed and then leave extra space on top of that. More often than not, the attendant will need to lay down your backdrop in order to put it together. Not having enough space can delay the setup process or result in not being able to use the backdrop. If you’re uncertain about whether or not the photo booth will fit in your preferred location, provide a backup location.
3. Consider the party
When planning where to set up your photo booth, don’t forget to consider the tear down. Most attendants will tear down the equipment once your active booth time comes to an end. This means that more often than not, this will take place during the party portion of the evening. The last thing you want if for your guests to have to stop dancing and socialising because the photo booth is in the way. This is why we recommend that you set up the photo booth somewhere that won’t interrupt the party while we tear down so that we can quickly and easily pack up the equipment while you and your guests continue to enjoy the evening.
The set up and tear down of your photo booth can have a significant impact on the success of your wedding day. By taking these 3 tips into consideration, you can ensure a seamless photo booth setup and teardown on your wedding day!
